Tattoo Space FAQ

What is Tattoo Space?

Tattoo Space is a digital marketplace for professional artists.

We create and sell products for the Procreate app on the iPad. All of our products are created by tattooers or artists very closely connected to the tattoo industry. We take pride in supporting our fellow artists.

What do I need in order to use Tattoo Space products?

Tattoo Space develops and sells digital tools for the Procreate application. If you don't have Procreate, you will not be able to use our products.

How do I install my brushes?

Tattoo Space has a user friendly brush installation guide right here! Just click the link.

Here are some of the main pointers in the guide:

  1. Always use Safari browser when browsing Tattoo Space and when downloading Tattoo Space products.

  2. Do not use a vpn or private browser.

  3. Update your iPad. Settings>General>Software Update.

    • Update Procreate to a version 5 or greater. App Store> Your account icon(top right hand corner) > Scroll down to see if there is an update available.

  4. Also, ensure that you are downloading your files to your Ipad locally. You can go to your settings to confirm this. Settings>Safari>Downloads and selection “On My iPad”.

  5. Allow cookies and clear your cache on Safari.

  6. Restart your iPad.

  7. Give your files time to download and use the fastest internet connection you have access to. While some brushes and stamps may download fast, some of the larger .brushset can take a few minutes to download depending on your internet connection.

What if I’m still having issues installing Tattoo Space products?

Contact our team at Support@TattooSpace.com and we will help resolve the issue. Please include screenshots of the issue and the specific product information so we can help resolve the issue quicker.

The brushes I downloaded from Tattoo Space don't work or cause Procreate to crash. What do I do to fix the problem?

The brushes and stamps that are used in Tattoo Space are only available in Procreate 5 or later, so this may cause the Procreate application to crash if it’s not up to date. So with that being said, please make sure your Procreate software is up to date.

To help find out which version of Procreate you currently have, you can go to your Procreate Gallery view and tap the word “Procreate” in the top left hand corner. This should say, “Version 5” or later.

You also can find this information in the App Store> Your account icon(top right hand corner) > Scroll down to see if there is an update available.

If all of the above have failed, you can contact us to help you troubleshoot by sending an email to support@tattoospace.com. Please, be specific and include the download or installation error you’re experiencing and screenshots if possible. Again, let’s work smart not hard.

What iPads work with Tattoo Space products?

Our products work with every iPad that runs Procreate version 5 or greater.

You can follow the steps in the previous question/answer to find out what version you have. Remember to always update your iPad and Procreate in order to maintain the best experience.

You can find out whether your iPad supports the current version of Procreate by looking at this list: https://procreate.art/faq#supported

How can I redownload the product files I purchased?

You can always access your download from the email that was sent after the initial purchase. Search your email for “Tattoo Space downloads”.

What is the user license agreement?

The license agreement is a limited use license for our products. It exists to help protect our creators from people using their designs for things we believe are personal privacy violations. Our creators develop these tools using their specific skill sets and styles, this agreement is there to protect their professional artistic style and identity.

Can I share my purchased files with a friend or coworker of mine?

When you purchase through Tattoo Space that purchase includes a limited-use license for each product that can be found on the website or your email. This license grants a single-user to download the brushes and stamps on devices YOU personally own and use. So with that being said, you may not share any of the product(s) with other users. Let’s help support tattooers and artists, by buying their brushes and stamps and telling others to do the same. There must be a license single use purchase for each product.

I contacted Support@Tatoospace.com and I haven't heard anything back.

We are a family run business and only have a few employees. Please give us time to reply to your issues, as we may have multiple other issues we are resolving at the same time. Thank you for your patience, and your continued support.

I got a new iPad and want to reinstall all of my Tattoo Space products, how do I do that?

You can always revisit the original download email from Tattoo Space and redownload your products. Just search “Tattoo Space downloads” in your email search and you will easily find the original download/purchase email.
