Don Chuck
Brazilian, born in itu, in the countryside of São Paulo. I started to get more engaged with tattooing in 2007 after a long time working as a freestyle bartender.

I always drew, visited studios and tried to get really involved into the business, but I was never able to get a traditional apprenticeship in a tattoo studio, only in 2012, after a long time trying, receiving several "no" from differente tattooers around my area, never giving up, I was accepted as apprentice by Chacal Tattoo in Piracicaba / São Paulo.
From the beginning I was more interested in iconic drawings, Traditional American and European designs. I acquired recognition for doing this kind of designs outside Brazil, doing a lot of painting jobs, drawing traditional old school portraits, studios business cards, etc.
I like Traditional style because of the “Bold Will Hold” mentality, it means that this kind of tattoos will last over time. You will look at the tattoos and identify what is, what it represents, despite the action of time on the skin. After all, they remain in circulation since before 1890 until today.
Jackie Lewis
I’m an Atlanta-based artist who got my start drawing comic books and doing illustration work. I've worked the comic book circuit for years, which has been awesome because it's a good excuse to travel and see new places and people, while getting my art out there.

I still do short comics here and there, but I began working in animation full-time a couple years back. I'm now the Lead Layouts Artist on a new Marvel/Disney show at Floyd County Productions (we also make Archer).
Doing comics and illustration, I immediately gravitated to inking and trying to perfect my linework. Working on tattoo commissions for many clients over the years helped me expand my horizons and fall in love with the art of tattoo design. My favorite things to draw are monsters, animals, natural environments, and comic book and video game characters. If you like what you see here and want to follow my work, my Instagram and Twitter are JackieAckiLewis. Thanks for checking out my brush set!

I’ve been working in tattoo shops since 2008. I am a very avid fisherman. Six years ago I started making fishing artwork and that bled into my tattooing very quickly. Now that has become the majority of what I do!
Kelly Severtson
It is impossible for mortal eyes and ears to fully comprehend Kelly’s true form on this plane of existence. This is a common problem for wizards of his ilk.
To make communication easier, Kelly now resides in the body of a middle-aged human who is a tattoo artist and illustrator in Chicago, IL. This human form seems to be preoccupied with nonsense and make-believe and has spent the better part of three decades immersed in fantasy art and imagery. Perhaps this eases the immensely powerful being that resides within him.
Kelly Severtson is a tattoo artist and illustrator in Chicago, where it’s cold all the damn time and summer is six weeks long. He grew up in the middle of nowhere and there was never anything to do. So he spent a lot of his time drawing and making up nonsense with his childhood friends. This pattern continued into adulthood, where he spends most of his time drawing and making up nonsense with his adult friends.
Luckily for you, dear reader, he likes to share his drawings. Sometimes they are pretty things and sometimes they are nonsense. You’ve got a 50-50 chance most days and things can go either way depending on what he’s had for lunch.

Need the money so I can buy an old Honda Civic, or a dog. The gas station job may pay the bills I don’t have but need the extra dough to pay for my come and go interests.
Asides from that, I enjoy illustrating and putting my creativity to use instead of not doing anything. I really hope you take a liking to my work. If not, the gas station may be full time and I might cry. Also, I am open to renting out your basement. Mother is getting ants

This year marks a decade in the best business in the world, so it's very exciting for me to share what I've learnt in that time with you all.

I started unlike most, the stars aligned and I landed in tattooing without much resistance at all, I decided that the job had chosen me and I was in no place to question it. And while the beginnings were tough as an apprentice and baby artist I eventually found my pace, my style and my tattoo home at Adorned Empire.
This career has given me more than I could have ever expected. I've had the pleasure to visit so many wonderful cities and travel the world doing what I love and creating tattoo tokens for people along the way. I hope to continue my adventures, visit as many conventions and studios when the world allows it.
What I love most about tattooing is sharing whether it be sharing my designs with my clients, sharing stories in the chair or swapping life and creative lessons with artists from my journeys. My prized possessions are fragments of information, trade secrets and stories which now make up my creative whole. I'm excited to share with you a little of what I know and hope it becomes a stepping stone to become what you desire to be.

Hello everybody. My name is Thiago Siltrad, I am Brazilian, born in Fortaleza-Ce but currently residing in Piracicaba-Sp.

I have been a tattoo artist since 2009, when I quit a job in the parking lot of a shopping mall to try life as a tattoo artist, but only in 2011 did I start working in a professional studio and stopped tattooing friends at home. In 2014 I started to work in the studio of my nowadays great friend Cassiano Klorck, he who instructed me and molded me to the traditional tattoo style, a style that I dedicated myself for a few years and accumulated some prizes. In 2017 I moved to live in another state and started to work in the studio of some friends. At that time I started to dedicate myself also to the blackwork style, which is what I have been dedicating more to lately. I currently have my own tattoo studio in Piracicaba, the city where I now reside.
My favorite styles are: Blackwork, Traditional and Neo Traditional.
Javier Rivera

GOKS
London born and raised. I have had a passion to draw since my earliest memories, from drawing Dragonball Z characters to graffiti tagging my neighbourhood. I studied art at school and have a degree in fine art.

But quickly learnt I didn’t want to be a fine artist. I fell into tattooing by chance, landing a 2 week work placement for uni at a local studio. Although I had had zero prior interest in tattooing, I immediately knew tattooing was something cool and something I would enjoy channeling my creative skills into. So I started my apprenticeship there in 2009 and the rest is history. I moved to Cloak and Dagger in 2014, where I really began to grow as an artist honing my skills and being inspired by the fellow passionate artists working there.
My style is Neo-traditional and I like to focus on strong clean simple graphics renders with flat colours and reduced colour palettes. If I can create the depth and detail of my art with the least amount of value shifts then I know it will heal well and age well. I strongly believe a tattoo should be seen and understood from the other side of the street. When I create my tattoos I aim to utilise the entire canvas I’m given. I will always push my designs to their limits on scale and form to best fit the client's body and flow with their shapes and curves. I enjoy tattooing animals and lady head portraits, either bursting to life with expression and vibrant colours. Or dull and muted with grungy, dark and moody vibes.
Every tattoo I design I try to tell a story or express an emotion. Neotrad is the best style for this, as it removes the limits of traditional tattooing style iconography and gives so much space to explore endless visuals options, but while maintaining the traditional ‘Bold will Hold’ foundation of a well ageing and great looking tattoo.
Mike Beard
Mike Beard is a tattoo artist at Burn The Boats Tattoo located in Meridian, Idaho. Mike has a few very specific talents that he has refined over the years.

Two of these talents are always knowing what time it is and where he is in the world. No matter what he was going through in his life or how many things you throw at him he always seems to know exactly what time of day it is. He can be transported in the trunk of a car while blindfolded and left for dead and still somehow know exactly where he is. These skills are not for the weak of heart, but also cannot be kept to oneself. These skills need to be passed on to the common man so they too can always know where they are and what time it is.
That’s why he felt it necessary to create a pocket watch and compass brush set to fit all of your tattooing needs.

Cassady Bell
I grew up in a super small town in the Pacific Northwest US without most of the toys and games that other kids had. My childhood was spent outside mostly, playing in the woods, building forts, riding my mountain bike and of course drawing and drawing and drawing.
I created my own worlds, characters and scenarios to fill my time and entertain myself where other kids may have had video games and tv. Back then I was probably bitter about not getting to the same kind of things that other kids had but looking back I am really grateful that my parents encouraged me to be creative even if it was indirectly.
The only formal art training that I've received in my life was in high school. Every year I attended art class and an extracurricular art club. I learned a lot during those years. Mostly the basics of technique, color, form and composition. And although I excelled at art during those years I got really bad grades in art due to me not wanting to follow the rules of assignments or trying to bend them as far as I could. So I think from a teacher's perspective I was a nightmare.
After high school when a lot of people I know went off to college, I spent a good couple years just partying with my friends and generally doing nothing with my life.
I didn’t grow up around tattooers or really that many people with tattoos, which I think created an allure to them. Tattoos were this mythical beast that rarely was in my line of sight as a younger person. So naturally tattoos and tattooing piqued my interest a fair amount as a young degenerate fresh out of school and with nothing better to do. It didn’t take me too long to really get into it and to start tattooing at a small biker shop near my hometown doing walk-ins and crappy flash tattoos.
After tattooing for around five or six years and moving to Portland, Oregon I started really honing a style for myself. Being a fan of optical art and geometric artists like MC Escher since childhood I think it was inevitable that I went in that direction with my work. Now after ten plus years of tattooing I really enjoy making abstract black work, geometry and large scale works that explore and accentuate the flow of the body

It is in this world that he seeks a balance between the traditional and the modern, mixing and experimenting with artistic techniques that together reach only one result...The elegance of writing beautifully, building and creating loose shapes to the letters, but keeping the most important... their harmony, beauty and legibility!
Leandro Bola Fleck started drawing when he was 9 years old, at 17 he was already studying what he had been studying through drawings, for tattoos and other services that required knowledge of letters! He discovered since then that the word study would accompany him to the present day, and the results would only be good through a lot of discipline and dedication in drawing!
The results of all these years of studies have been shared for years through his social networks, available to all who like him, believe that the old and the new complement each other and the most important is to study and evolve! Good studies!

Not only have I got the most awesome job, but I also have an amazing family. My wife and I recently welcomed our son into the world, making our family of 3 (myself, my wife and our dog) a family of 4! Tattooing even comes into my family life, however it doesn't involve needles, it involves picking up a paintbrush and painting designs all over our house as per my wife's request! Joys of the job I guess!
I hope you love these brush sets as much as I've enjoyed creating them and that the passion behind them shines through.
